Also on build 51043 the 5GHz LED stays off even though 5 GHz is enabled and has (two) users connected. Just as with the previous build. It used to work, but unfortunately I don't know from which build the bug was introduced.
Last version that has 5GHz LED working on R7800 is 50927. _________________ Life is a journey; travel alone makes it less enjoyable and lonely.

I have two R7800s as wired access points. Only light I've ever seen on outside of the boot cycle is Power, even with connected devices on wlan0 and wlan1. I always assumed this was normal.
Perhaps you haven't noticed, but there's a slide switch on the back of the R7800 at the right hand side that will switch all LEDs except the left-most Power LED off and on.

Thanks ArjenR49. I was not aware of that switch, as these devices were a fairly recent acquistition. I have the same issue with the 5GHz light. I was set to Vanilla, changed to DD-WRT, Apply, back to Vanilla, Apply. Rebooted three times and still no light. I have my two R7800 access points and my WRT1900AC router each set to hardcoded channels (100, 132, and 52, respectively), so I can see that my laptop is connected to 5GHz on the R7800 I was experimenting with. The other lights are working. _________________ __________________________

Did you try CLI flash to see if there was an underlying issue?
No, only via web interface.
I don't quite understand why a different version number is displayed.
Either the image is bunk, or flash failed. CLI flash or tailing the syslog or having serial console up and running would show if the flash failed. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

The fact is that the router connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the orange WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). Internet is working, I just think it's a glitch

You have the switch in the back of the router in the off position.
