I have read everything I could found and looked at Youtube videos for hours but it will not work. My router never get a WAN IP. It's 0.0.0.0 whatever I do.

DD-WRT v3.0-r44715 mega (11/03/20)

Setup (Basic)
Conn type: Automatic DHCP
Local IP: 192.168.2.200
DHCP Server enabled
DHCP Scope: 192.168.2.50-100

Setup (Adv. routing)
Op. mode: Gateway
Interface: Both

Security
SPI Firewall: Disable

Wireless (Basic)
Wireless Mode: Repeater
Wireless Net.mode: Mixed
Wireless Network name: (the SSID I want to connect to)
Network Conf.: Bridged
Virtual Interface (SSID): (the SSID I provide for my clients)
Network Conf.: Bridged

Wireless (Security)
Mode: WPA2-PSK (same as host)
WPA Algo: COMP-128 (same as host)
WPA Shared key: (host password)
Virtual interface (Sec.mode): WPA2-PSK
Virtual Interface (WPA Algo): COMP-128
Virtual Interface WPA shared key: (my password for clients)

Everything else is factory default.

Your build is old and outdated (not saying that that is the current problem), note the disclaimer on the router database.

See the forum guidelines with helpful pointers about how to research your router, where and what firmware to download, where and how to post and many other helpful tips:
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=324087

Current build is 50963.

I personally tested:
Router Model: Linksys WRT 54 GS v1.0
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r50814 mega (11/05/22)
Kernel Version: Linux 2.4.37 #70150 Sat Nov 5 22:34:09 -00 2022 mips

Which works in normal gateway mode, so perhaps try that or the latest build 50963.
These routers are not used much any more so it is possible that they are just broken.

*After* upgrade reset to defaults and put settings in manually.

Make sure your main router also has the same security settings so only WPA2-PSK with AES128

I just dug up the router and setup repeater mode, which worked without a problem with build 50814.
But I only tested it wired so with a PC connected by ethernet to the router and that was working, I did not made a Virtual AP yet.

To be honest having a whopping 54Mb/s available which is then split between repeater and AP is probably not something you will be happy about.
