Welcome to Broadcom r50963 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers & community benefit.
Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions, create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Try station or repeater mode but YMMV.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!
Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Misc: stracetcpdumpwireshark.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

Router Model: Netgear R6400v1
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r50963M Community Build (11/28/22)
Kernel Version: Linux 4.4.302-st28 #1 SMP Mon Nov 28 14:01:01 CET 2022 armv7l
Upgraded from: DD-WRT v3.0-r50841M Community Build (11/09/22)
Reset: No not this time
Status: Up and running for 2 hours, basic setup as Gateway, static leases, Advanced routing, Port Forwarding, IPv4, 2.4 GHz with unbridged VAP and 5 GHz.
Throughput testing is the same as reported at: https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=333373&start=3
Running one WireGuard tunnel to Keepsolid and second WireGuard tunnel to own WG server for site-to-site connection.
Upgraded from: DD-WRT v3.0-r50551 std
No reset - Upgrade in GUI
Errors: no in log but issue with IPV4 connectivity.
Test with 2 Netgear R7000 (cf signature)
Same problem :
After upgrade and reboot, i lost IPV4 connectivity. NO IPV4 in netgear.
After new reboot (electric), IPV4 OK (in GUI and with an IFCONFIG) but SSH seems to be broken in IPV4. i can connect on SSH with IPV6
Rollback to : v3.0-r50551 => SSH OK in IPV4 _________________ Netgear R7000 :

Router/Version: DLink DIR-885L File/Kernel: r50963 Previous/Reset: no Mode/Status: Repeater Issues/Errors: Problemas com distribuição de IPs e baixa performance do wi-fi / Some bugs
Using the repeater mode, I faced problems such as failure in the ip distribution in the 5G network when restarting, it is only corrected when restarting again. I also had a problem with the ip on the network cable, having to wait a few precious minutes. The cable performance is great, the speed is 500Mbps, practically the available speed, but the wifi suffers on the 5G network, obtaining 290Mbps. In the 2.4G network the speed is great, 122Mbps.
I know that Broadcom ARM heats up a lot, but I think 75°C is worrying. Or is it normal?
Can experimental drivers be used normally?
Sorry to go into this subject here, it lacks detailed and easily accessible information

I updated my R7000 to this build yesterday evening. No issues with IPV4. There seems to be a problem with SSH though. _________________ Netgear R7000 on Build 53939

If you have trouble connecting with SSH then download the latest Putty and make sure under SSH/Host keys to move ed25519 to the top and untick "Prefer Algorithms for which a host key is known" or forget/remove the HOST keys.

Newer builds changed the host key which is based on ED25519 instead of RSA. You need to download the new host keys by removing the old entry in your client's ~/.ssh/known_hosts file. _________________ Router: Asus RT-N18U (rev. A1)

This version works fine, as opposed to r50927, which resulted in a blinking power LED and needing to revert to 50671: https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1276281#1276281.
