I've used my R7000 for years with no problem, occasionally updating ddwrt. A few days ago some wifi clients started acting up. Specifically I have several Google Nest mini's, and they would periodically tell me they could not reach the network, and it took a power reset on them to get them back. This did not happen to all at once. In addition I have a harmony hub that starated having the same behavior, so I think it must be a wireless issue.

This started with no changes to the r7000. I then updated to the latest beta, and its still happening.

Is there any way to track this down, perhaps with some kind of monitoring?

I haven't noticed any issue on the ethernet connected systems.

Did you try changing channels or even TX power?

Yes, I tried other channels. I don't know how to change power.

One rogue wifi client can bring a network down.

Did your problems start when you added a client or updated a client

I did start using an Amazon firestick recently, so that could be the culprit, but I'm looking for some way of monitoring, or getting something from the log that would pin it down.

Remove the firestick and see what is happening.

Make sure your WiFi settings are according to the latest insights:
