I am wondering what browser you might be using I would like to install it and see if I can recreate the issue.

Firefox version 107.0 (64 bits) on Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon.

As it happens I have apparently set syslogd to report on the router to my Pihole DNS server, but I'm not a good one for checking any sort of logs when I experience a problem. There are so many logs and there's so much information that I cannot place. In fact I've forgotten where to look for the syslog in my PiHole server, rsyslog something, but it's not in the GUI ...
I do remember logs growing so big I had to do learn about log rotation to avoid problems. Possibly it was the pihole software that complained about log size. I forgot.

The DNS server is a Raspberry Pi Zero with a PiVoyager UPS (pihole with unbound).
I tend to have problems with just any UPS I get for a Raspberry Pi - I have 4 different designs, three in active use - so that's what I end up spending most time on (UPS firmware is usually lacking and development of firmware [and/or documentation] stops before perfection is attained quite unlike dd-wrt Wink

EDIT:
After looking up info about rsyslog, I found the output. I had set it up in April of this year, but forgotten how to read the info, so I made a command script with a tail -f command on the Desktop, which prevents forgetting again.

I will leave a tail on it, so to say, while the Bandwidth page is open. Maybe there's something in the morning (opening the file in an editor).
Rsyslog reports in UTC from the looks of it. I had to check all systems involved and they all use local time, so that's a bit strange, but the difference here is just one hour.

I counted 11 or 12 graphs in the Bandwidth page, since my R7800 here got 3 bridges, a virtual lan and three virtual WLAN access points plus both WiFi bands in use. Mostly only the WAN graph is what interests me, since my connection here can be flaky at times and download is just somewhat over 10 Mb/s with QoS at 18.000 ...
The more graphs, the more memory usage probably.

Bandwidth page had been running all night in the browser.
Router log results the day after upon stopping and starting httpd:

Nov 23 13:54:31 r7800.mdnet httpd[1496]: [httpd] : httpd server shutdown
Nov 23 13:54:33 r7800.mdnet : [httpd] : daemon hanging, send SIGKILL
Nov 23 13:54:33 r7800.mdnet : [httpd] : daemon successfully stopped
Nov 23 13:54:39 r7800.mdnet httpd[9413]: [httpd] : httpd SSL server started at port 443
Nov 23 13:54:39 r7800.mdnet : [httpd] : successfully started
Nov 23 13:55:28 r7800.mdnet httpd[9417]: [httpd] : httpd server shutdown
Nov 23 13:55:28 r7800.mdnet : [httpd] : daemon successfully stopped
Nov 23 13:55:33 r7800.mdnet httpd[9422]: [httpd] : httpd SSL server started at port 443
Nov 23 13:55:33 r7800.mdnet : [httpd] : successfully started

I restarted httpd twice as the first start didn't seem to have any result. Neither had the second ... In the end firefox restarted by itself and I had to log in again to the router's GUI. Possibly firefox had been updated, or then ... The browser runs on my Linux Mint laptop.
The second line of the log quote looks significant. There was nothing else in the log to be found by a search for httpd.

ArjenR49 do you have any add-ons on your FFx ? (fully disable them)...do you use it in private mode ?
I use Pale-moon browser only and only for GUI actions, for nothing else and dont have any issues with it..
To be honest i dont see any use of GUI in non-stop 24/7 running mode..as this floods the router...same as ssh....if i need to see something, I log in (mostly via ssh) on GUI and than i close browser and that's it...but different ppl different demands, no blame ...
to be precise in the past i used to have R7800 GUI running 24/7 on a clean PC with nothing on it, only a FFx portable...and was fine, but that's was a waste of electricity...unless you have a solar panels Razz

p.s. also enable klog for syslog and via ssh
nvram set console_debug=1
nvram commit

and check the log again when it happens there will be more details..
to me it seams either bad browser settings or router goes out of buff mem or some memleak that is related to GUI code...

The nvram commit produced the following output:

root@R7800:~# nvram set console_debug=1
root@R7800:~# nvram commit
ledtool 1
root@R7800:~#

This was after enabling klog and save settings on that Services page...

I already see more output in the rsyslog. Stuff like:

Nov 25 00:23:52 192.168.1.1 process_monitor[3494]: _evalpid:filtersync
Nov 25 00:23:52 192.168.1.1 : _evalpid:iptables -D lan2wan -j grp_1
Nov 25 00:23:52 192.168.1.1 : _evalpid:rm -f /tmp/.fw_lock
Nov 25 00:23:52 192.168.1.1 : _evalpid:iptables -D lan2wan -j grp_2
Nov 25 00:23:52 192.168.1.1 : _evalpid:rm -f /tmp/.fw_lock
Nov 25 00:23:52 192.168.1.1 : _evalpid:iptables -D lan2wan -j grp_3
Nov 25 00:23:52 192.168.1.1 : _evalpid:rm -f /tmp/.fw_lock
Nov 25 00:23:52 192.168.1.1 : _evalpid:iptables -D lan2wan -j grp_4
....

The bad thing is that I have no idea if that's something to worry about ...

Router/Version: TP-Link TL-WR841ND v9
File/Kernel: tl-wr841nd-webflash-r50906.bin
Previous/Reset: v24-r31221->reset->reboot->reset->flash->reboot->reset
Mode/Status: router
Issues/Errors: unstable: wifi not visible on some devices, sometimes webserver unreachable, dnsmasq flaky

just for the record: as recommended elsewhere in the forum, don't use newer firmwares for this device. the best most recent working firmware for these old devices (with not much ram) seems to be r40750 std.
