I have a Samba file server acting as a NAS. This file server has an active directory that controls VMs and other things. The AD server cannot be relied upon to be up on a consistent basis. I wish to configure my DD-WRT box to forward AD requests to the domain controller.

There is probably a dead stupid way to do this but network configuration is not a thing I do regularly.
