Hi

I can't upgrade to any new release firmware(and revert to original firmware)
Any command for download firmware is fail becouse root file system indicates that all disk space has been exhausted and there is no free space

Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r40276 std (07/12/19)

root@DD-WRT:/tmp# df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
rootfs 3072 3072 0 100% /
/dev/root 3072 3072 0 100% /

root@DD-WRT:/# cat /proc/mtd
dev: size erasesize name
mtd0: 00040000 00010000 "RedBoot"
mtd1: 003a0000 00010000 "linux"
mtd2: 002ef000 00010000 "rootfs"
mtd3: 00020000 00010000 "ddwrt"
mtd4: 00010000 00010000 "nvram"
mtd5: 00010000 00010000 "FIS directory"
mtd6: 00010000 00010000 "board_config"

Use the webUI. This adds on to a question I had about 4MB flash devices not being able to wget firmware files, thanks for posting. Of course, firmware upgrade via CLI uses /tmp, which is RAM, not flash space, if I am not mistaken.

Unfortunately, I missed the notification about changes in the topic of the forum. I was just sorting through old mail and found a message about your answer.
The problem is that I tried to update in every possible way, including through WebUI. The update can only be installed by programming the device via UART directly.
But this is an extremely time-consuming process - I did it only once and do not dare to do it again.

Command-line you are supposed to be cd'd to /tmp, which is in RAM; there should be no issue with flashing, unless there was an issue with the previous version similar to 33375 or when webUI upgrading was broken. I have good word that the issue previously mentioned (related to DNS) is still catch-22 on similar devices configured as a Wireless Access Point.
