recently ive been testing with help of Brainslayer the several MediateK Based Wifi Modules in a PCengines APU1c Board

MT7915D (DBDC Version, AX support) and MT7915 (dualband Version, but not DBDC, AX support) Chipset with modules from AsiaRF

MT7915D is a DBDC Module which support 2.4ghz and 5ghz in one module at the same time ...

in general it works now on latest DD-WRT x86 Firmware, but there are still frequent disconnects at 2.4 and also 5ghz in 1-3Hour Intervalls,, due to reKeying problems which are hopefully resolved soon...

if anyone else care to share his experiences , if he got similar modules. now is the time Wink


and by the way, if anyone orders the AsiaRF modules directly , ask for a real heatsink, they can provide these - i got mine without real heatsink and the modules become very hot , the 4x4 Version up to 130 Degree Celsius under Load ...

i am looking forward to another moduel from Alfa Networks which i receive next week , with MT7615D chipset (ac only)

Good to hear, sadly no such anything here, but congrats on the work progression.

Is there a recent specific build recommended for these tests besides the latest? Latest public is r50671

i have to add:

right now AX support is not implemented yet , all mentioned modules run on AC right now ...


for the x86 image Brainslayer added also 2.5Gbit ethernet support yesterday with Intel I225-V Chipset ...
