Just was curious if there is any plans to see if this router will be DD-WRT capable? If not are there currently any routers that are DD-WRT capable and have a couple of 10gb Ethernet ports atleast one lan and one wan ?

It's even stickied. Broadcom 802.11ax / Wifi6+ devices will most likely never see DD-WRT support. And I will say this, looking at things, it would be a b*tch to port the kernel(s) and code required to support all current Broadcom 802.11ax / Wifi6+ devices. Keep in mind that stock firmware uses uClibc, and DD-WRT does not (necessarily). ALSO, the compilation toolchain uses older versions of gcc, etc. and this matters. Unresolved symbols and other hurdles to overcome. I'm sure someone who's really bored and has 24/7 free time, a lot of willpower and determination could do something, but this is of no interest to the lead developer.
I wonder if there is another router that is supported that has atleast 1 10gb wan and 1 10gb lan for a total of 2 10gb wan/lan ports? I can’t find one other than this new tp-link. I really want to upgrade my network to 10gb. I already have cat6 installed and hopefully it’s not longer than 55meters or I’ll have to go with cat6a. I just can’t believe the tp-link is the one
Are there any modern WiFi routers / access points with just one SFP+ port? I don't need two. Basically, I want to to build my own 10 gbps network and wifi device doesn't need to be a router, just an access point to be plugged into a switch with SFP+ (may be DAC or fiber optic cable).
However I want to be able to run DD-WRT or OpenWRT on it. Building a whole custom PC just for the access point feels like an overkill.
That TP-Link Archer AXE300 comes up in search, but yeah, if it has Broadcom wifi chip - it's a deal breaker. Are there some that have Qualcomm ones?

Netgear R9000 has SFP it also has a great DDWRT support..and his reboxed version XR 700 has the same port too..as you may know SFP ports could be picky on modules compatibility.. _________________ Atheros

Oh, thanks for the pointer! I'd have to look into transceivers / DAC compatibility for it, but Netgear R9000 looks indeed promising!
