Hello,

My ISP provides 450 Mbps down and 21 Mbps up. I cannot get speeds anything faster than 350/21. I had my ISP come out and do some testing. They found no problem and their equipment did achieve 450 Mbps going through their own cable modem. Bypassing the modem they got 1 Gbps. So, it isn't the line nor the modem and I can only assume it is my router.

I'm not sure where to begin looking. I have a Netgear R7000 with Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r49741 std (08/15/22) currently installed. I have tried multiple firmwares over the past few months with no change.

I do use a script I found on these forums to do some basic site (ad) blocking but otherwise I don't believe I have anything that unusual as a configuration.

I'm hoping someone might be able to suggest where I should look for problems or what to try to perhaps fix my problem.

Thank you.

adblocking can be a resource hog.

But are you sure Hardware acceleration is turned on (CTF + FA on Setup page)? see:

Scroll down to: Flow Acceleration, SFE and Cut-Through Forwarding

That appears to have done the trick. I turned on "CTF & FA" and now things appear to be running at full speed.

Thank you!
