Router Model: TP-Link TL-WR1043N v5.0
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r50274 std (09/27/22)
Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r50254 std (09/26/22), DD-WRT v3.0-r50231 std (09/24/22), DD-WRT v3.0-r50229 std (09/23/22)
File: tplink_wr1043n-v5.bin
Kernel Version: 3.18.140-d6 #153954 Tue Sep 27 06:34:27 +07 2022 mips
Mode: Gateway/AP
Reset: None required
Status: OK
Uptime: ~14 hours
Issues/Errors: After an on-and-off-going discussion with BrainSlayer over the past two years or so, more recent renewed interest in fixing things and input from @blkt and myself, we finally have a working firmware for this device. If anyone cannot configure your router to your liking due to broken save/apply buttons, I can post 50231 alpha images in the above linked thread. I did see a cosmetic issue on Administration -> Commands after flashing last night:

All previously reported caveats regarding USB-related features are now null and void. I will report back if I find any further issues. A huge thank you to all of the people since the first firmware images released in 2017 who reported the issue, sorry it took so long to resolve.

Upgraded R7800 from previous f/w version using easyddup.
I have done a total reset on the previous f/w version and a manual restore mainly from PDF printouts.

BUG:
Sorting of the two last columns (service name and state) of the active connections table does not work in f/w 50274 after opening the table from the link in the status router page. Other columns can be sorted just fine.

After a refresh of the table using the button all columns can be sorted again.

Previous issues on last build appear to have been self inflicted as I had 4 days uptime once
I resolved it. Thanks BS and all the devs !

@ccbrianf please share more details of your setup to give the developers a better chance to solve this.

Please post details e.g screenshots of settings.

There are two firmwares for the radio's DDWRT and VANILLA.
