what about adding some captcha or similar thing to the login to improve the security a bit? i would say don't think to much, just do it Smile

i do, but that is not the point of this. it is about breaking the malware automation and providing two basic two factor authentication login. for example if dd-wrt would have this at the moment all its users would be safe from this (including those that don't change default user/pass). and i don't think it would be that hard to add it. cracking the captcha is another story...

In current development builds, DD-WRT will now require you to change the default password on first boot.
