Well, It has finally happened to me. I have had my 1st crash and reboot of the last 3-4 builds on one ea8500 WDS Station. I was able to copy the last several pages of the log after it rebooted. What may be related or not was yesterday I had a disconnect or radio failure while attempting to answer a call on a VoIP phone connected to this router. It only lost internet connection for a few moments but didn`t crash or reboot. Its working fine now. Might be just a fluke but see others having some issues with the ea8500s.
EDIT ....This may be a case where I should have looked further before posting. I began experiencing first thing this morning with dropped connections on my VoIP phone and one Win10 PC. Everything in the log in RED indicated password problems. Upon further looking it seems my password in the Wireless Security - Virtual Interface section has been erased or maybe I never fully applied it. Strange that it never showed up for 4-5 days. Also nothing checked in there at all. Even default has WPA2 & AES along with a phony password in there. Strange my Debian11 machine never lost connection ??? _________________ ......All GOOD here... today I am happy that I switched with wdr3600 from openwrt to ddwrt with Shortcut Forwarding Engine +ipv6 works at maximum with the 500mbps subscription, in the speed test I reached somewhere around 500mbps download and 850mbps upload!
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping this firmware alive and that it will be used more and more! _________________ Internet provider https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCS_%26_RDS 1Gbps

Even default has WPA2 & AES along with a phony password in there.
Be aware when reset the EA8500 will have whatever WiFi PW is listed on its factory tag...
...been like that since back in Kong days --- I just checked and it still works.

I also noticed an anomaly while configuring the security settings, I ticked wpa2, but the settings with the password did not appear until I ticked wpa3, then I unchecked and the password setting remained active, and I upgraded from to the original software! _________________ Internet provider https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCS_%26_RDS 1Gbps

Is there actually something wrong with your router or are you asking just based on the system log?
it is better to be formatted ext2 or ext 4? _________________ Internet provider https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCS_%26_RDS 1Gbps

Ide probably know if I knew what Im looking at. As usual its not obvious.
I dont have atheros really but I just tested via remote and there was a crash when I selected wpa2 personal with sha256 (just ticked box and poof) running build 228 not yet public, I did re-indent the javascript, I will revert that now, will revise the indenting again later.
@the-joker I have this version also on wrt1900acs v2 and I did not encounter this problem, it seems that on wdr3600 there is this problem when you select wpa2 _________________ Internet provider https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCS_%26_RDS 1Gbps
