Hi Peeps, just wondering, should i enable channel overlapping or leave it disabled ? Had a few conflicting opinions on this so thought i would come here to ask. Thx....

keep it off, turnng it on will allow channel configurations that break industry spec and 90% of devices will not operate properly if at all

thanks for reply, i was wondering this also, shall leave it off...

i am using turbo / wide mode 40mhz / ht40 mode,

do not they overlap in this mode anyway?

switch it off for 5ghz, switch it on for 2.4ghz

the filter for 40mhz was added later and is only helpful for 5ghz, so leave "Allow Channel Overlapping" activated for 2.4ghz

you can also activate it for 5ghz but then you have a lot of invalid selection options and need a manual every time you change the channel. (not recommended)
