Multiple Firmware crashes on R9000 with VANILLA and DD-WRT firmware:
Seeing some parts of screen was missing, some jumbled over the place after flashing r50057, i did a second software reboot (i.e. administration/reboot router) with reset option selected. And voila, the full screen is back normal, and everything works fine for more than 24 hours now.
I don't normally do a check after flashing a DD-WRT firmware on my previous R7800. But for R9000, i strongly suggest a second s/ware reboot after flashing a new DDWRT firmware. This is due to its unusual dual switch arrangement. (BTW, i adopted this practice since i encountered R9000's related issues earlier).
Lastly, the features you have on your R9000 are no more complicated than mine. So, my suggestion is to give it a second s/ware reboot. Hopefully it resolves your issues.
Good luck. _________________ Life is a journey; travel alone makes it less enjoyable and lonely.

One thing i notice in DDWRT r50057 firmware is the new option of 'Cancel Changes '. (Might well be added earlier i am not sure).
It's a good feature. And if my understanding is correct, it allows user to undo the changes after clicking 'Apply Settings '. It's similar to the feature of 'Undo ' of MikroTik.
In MikroTik, each Undo click removes the immediately prior change. But it does not seem to be the case in DDWRT after i tried a couple of times.
Am i barking at the wrong tree, or is it just a template at this stage yet to be completed by BS and the team?
Cheers _________________ Life is a journey; travel alone makes it less enjoyable and lonely.

Good to know. But more importantly, how does it work?
For example, in Wireless tab, i changed the 2.4GHz channel from 6 to 11, click Save then Apply Settings.
Once it is changed, i then click Cancel Changes. It does not undo what i did, i.e. not reverting to channel 6. _________________ Life is a journey; travel alone makes it less enjoyable and lonely.

Cancel reverts to the latest nvram settings. Save and Apply commits changes to nvram .. which becomes the latest. _________________ Current: Netgear R9000 DD-WRT v3.0-r55460 std (03/25/24)

That would be my understanding BUT the steps i took did not change it back as i expect.
For example, if you follow the following steps:
1. I changed the 2.4GHz channel from 6 to 11. Save and Apply Settings. It indicates channel 11 is now operational. I can also see it under channel 11 on 'Wifi Analyzer' app on my Android phone.
2. Next, i click on Cancel Changes, after a few moments, wifi channel does not reverse back to 6. Wifi Analyzer app still shows channel 11.
I next clicked on Save and Apply Settings as well. But no revert back.
So what gives? _________________ Life is a journey; travel alone makes it less enjoyable and lonely.

This seems rather impossible. Revert Setting? Since when was this a thing? _________________Linksys EA8500 (Internet Gateway, AP/VAP) - DD-WRT r53562

There is no revert.
Cancel is akin to re-reading the nvram. _________________ Current: Netgear R9000 DD-WRT v3.0-r55460 std (03/25/24)

I don't mean to be rude, but would you be able to show how the 'Cancel Changes' option is supposed to work. Not just what you think it does.
I can't find the info that's why i asked to learn more about it. I use MiktoTik gears in different settings, hence my point of reference. _________________ Life is a journey; travel alone makes it less enjoyable and lonely.
