Hello,

I have a protectli Vault (4ports) and a R7000 router (Configures as AP)
My ISP is a fiber connection 1GBps.

I notice the wifi speed is very slow.

Are there any settings within the r7000 i can check to improve the wifi speed?

Thanks!

(R7000) Broadcom WiFi settings
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=327595

newer firmware..
https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2022/

also getting speeds up to 1GBit via WiFi.... i don't think this is possible for all Wi-Fi clients as
those must be 3x3 streams compatible...most wifi clients are 2x2 but there are some exemptions...

make sure you ve made the proper WAP mode(AP) for your R7000... so no NAT...
WAP needs router mode(this can brake things), and firewall off, but you can still use it in gateway mode and firewall on, but you have to add this rule to (save firewall script)

iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -o br0 -j SNAT --to $(nvram get lan_ipaddr)

presume br0 is your default bridge ... Cool

and do not use the WAN port...use any of the switch x4 ports
