Good day all,
I am a new putty user, and i have been trying to install the latest Yamon v4 to my router.
I have tried all sort of attempts, auto installing, manually, even tried to install V3 but its been a no go.
i figure it must have something with me not knowing my way around putty. first of all, when i try to run the self install, as its detailed in the Yamon installer page,
I get the follwoing error:
/opt/install.sh: /opt/YAMon4/includes/getlatest.sh: line 2: syntax error: unexpected newline
ok, i figure there may be some setting within my putty or i just need to flush out the gremlins out of my router.
the second (possibly related) issue, is that when i attempt to manually install the program, I am able to copy all the files with winSCP, but when i need to run the setup file i get the following error:
-sh: /opt/YAMon4/setup4.0.7.sh: not found
although, when i'm in that directory, type "ls" it lists the setup file "setup4.0.7.sh" and in green color, which means it has executing rights.
so, i'm stuck since i do not have any real putty experience and not sure what else i need to do to complete the installation process.
Thanks in advance!

PS. my router specs below

Had you read the top and bottom post(s)/thread(s), you would have the answer to your question. Sorry, not trying to be rude, but everything related to YaMon would be in the dedicated threads on the forum.

It is known that YaMon4 is abandoned and has issues, and those issues have been discussed in the YaMon4 thread I previously linked. The last YaMon3.x release is still stable AFAIK, but the overall project has been abandoned and is 3rd party. It would be great had Al turned over the reigns to another developer, but that didn't happen. Discuss wherever, but I am fairly certain that the issue has already been discussed. If I am in error, it won't be the first time. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
