Router/Version: Linksys EA8500
File: dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin
Reset: No
Status: all good - AP/Gateway, Static Leases, MAC Filtering, Ondemand Governor
Updated from r49976 to r50012
Update Sucessful.
No issues noted.
Checked the Switch Config - looks fine - VLAN2 blank as last line.
BUT: looked at same in Marvel WRT1900ACv1 - there were 12 or 13 extra VLAN - all blank
So I used the "-" button to remove some of them and Applied Changes.
Now the WRT1900ACv1 is bricked.
EDIT - recovered + restored - leaving all those blank VLAN rows alone!
Yes - other forum - but related - I wouldn't risk removing a blank VLAN line on my EA8500! _________________ ------------------------------------

Uptime 3 min
GUI over 49976
Reset: no
Issues: works great!
1. My NTFS hard disk (5tb) casually (after restart of router) won't be visible anymore, rather a different partition appears (15mb). Probably chkdsk / dirty flag issue!?
2. My old Xbox One can not connect to WIFI, that only appears to my WIFI, if I connect to other WIFI or to my hotspot no issues at all. My hotspot has same SSID and PSW and it connects immediately. Probably, this is rather an Xbox issue than dd-wrt, but worth to mention.

depends from your wi-fi settings, i guess...
-do not use TKIP, use only WPA2 with AES
-use fixed WiFi channel either 1,6,11
-use vanilla
-use NG mixed or Mixed
-use short GI
-use short preamble
-disassoc_low_ack=0 or disabled
try this to help wi-fi clients to not disconnect...
add to wi-fi password page> hostapd box

been a while since i upgraded, so i dont know if this is a recent bug or its been a while. But on the USB tab the Disk-info box only lists Disk-space, nothing else. Among other things, this is where it used to show the UUID of any drives you inserted, which need to be copied up to the "mount partition to /opt" box.
