Maybe there are problems with the network card, try to deactivate and reactivate the network card, I have this problem on a ROG MAXIMUS X CODE, I also have 1gbps internet and sometimes the network card switches to 100mbps mode! _________________ Internet provider https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCS_%26_RDS 1Gbps
WDR3600 rev.1.5 - DD-Wrt
Linksys WRT1900ACS v.2 DD-Wrt/-OpenWrt
Done!
Deactivated and reactivated.
Other ethernet Cable.
And factory default.
I´m in the same point.
I tried using linux mint, and there´s no way , the same speed.
The Router is not well.
Is this with or without a VPN connection? Is SFE enabled or not? Current release is 49976. Ensure you are using the firmware for your version of the 1200. You should probably also do an 'nvram erase && reboot' and re-configure manually and not load a backup from and older build.
And I see that you are one of those who edits posts and makes replies confusing. That's my cue. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

Check the Ethernet Secondary Indicators on the 1200. The attached image is from the 1200 manual (sloppy edit, sorry). If the small dot light under the port light is not lit up the router does not recognize the connected device as a GB connection. Could indicate the device default is 100 Mb's, the NIC card does not support GB/is defective or there is a defective cable or Ethernet port on the device.
It will at least tell you what the router thinks the connection is.
Seems that the WRT1200AC is not using vlan2 for wan port and doesn't have vlan1 on the networking page. Interesting since the 88E6176 supports 4096 802.1q VLANs. The switch itself is supposed to have 2 CPU ports. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
