Sounds as if the builds are "failing" and older images are being uploaded if the version information is not changing - OR - the upgrade is failing and it is reverting to the previous good version. Were you flashing via CLI to ensure the firmware image size was not too big for the linux partition?
I was unable to successfully flash the microassembly on this router. I then tried to switch to a mini-build, again via the GUI. The router is back to r49547.
It was impossible to log in through the telnet console, the password was always incorrect. Putty showed a fatal error . Maybe there is a video on how to properly flash through the CLI

Once you have done initial flash, you shouldn't have to flash a micro build.
Telnet and SSH password should be the same as the webUI password. You can
even be logged in via telnet doing a
Code:
tail -f /var/log/messages
while flashing via webUI so you can see what is going on. CLI flash is always
covered in the OP of build threads, as well as the generic installation wiki.
Was this device ever converted to K26 builds?
Code:
cd /tmp
wget http://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2022/08-10-2022-r49677/broadcom/dd-wrt.v24_mini_generic.bin
write dd-wrt.v24_mini_generic.bin linux &
# wait at least 5 minutes or until ping your.router.ip.address returns TTL=64
reboot
NOTE: The ampersand (&) is not necessarily required, but will allow safe CLI flash in case the connection breaks between client and router.
