Welcome to Broadcom r49677 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers & community benefit.
Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions, create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Try station or repeater mode but YMMV.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!
Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Misc: stracetcpdumpwireshark.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

Got this today upgraded from stock with DDWRT to this version, upgrade went fine but DNSMasq is broken.
Furthermore this is an E1200v1 which has 4 MB flash (the v2 has 8 MB).
However in the K3X directory there also is a K3X version for the E1200v1 but with a file size exceeding 4 MB, this will brick the router!
Router model: Linksys E1200 v1
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r49677 mini (08/10/22)
Kernel Version: Linux 2.6.24.111 #28139 Wed Aug 10 02:20:18 +07 2022 mips
Reset: yes full reset twice after upgrading
Status: non functional because DNSMasq is broken. When setting a static lease on my client it works, DNSMasq is not giving any output (which is probably expected as it might be compiled without -DNEED_PRINTF), manually starting does not work either and does not give any more information in syslog then:
Aug 10 10:58:00 E1200v1 user.info syslog: [dnsmasq] : maybe died, we need to re-exec it
Aug 10 10:58:01 E1200v1 user.info syslog: [dnsmasq] : daemon successfully started
Aug 10 11:00:00 E1200v1 user.info syslog: [dnsmasq] : maybe died, we need to re-exec it
Aug 10 11:00:00 E1200v1 user.info syslog: [dnsmasq] : daemon successfully started
DNSMasq is present in /usr/sbin:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 137352 Aug 9 21:20 dnsmasq

Check if you have the same DNSMasq problem as I do on y E1200v1, if it is a DNSMasq problem then set a static IP on your computer and you should have access to your router again
Thanks for your reply, it's a bit different. Updating the router to version r49677. For some reason, r49547 is being installed. Previous r49626 same failure. Previously, the same situation was with version r48494. It was kindly corrected by BS

Sounds as if the builds are "failing" and older images are being uploaded if the version information is not changing - OR - the upgrade is failing and it is reverting to the previous good version. Were you flashing via CLI to ensure the firmware image size was not too big for the linux partition? _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Mode/Status: Gateway / Working
Issues/Errors: Temporary loss of GUI when making changes to Wi-Fi settings. GUI did not come back after several minutes, so I rebooted the router. This got GUI back, but again changes to Wi-Fi caused loss of GUI. I then waited about 20 minutes and GUI was back, and I was able to make changes to Wi-Fi.
