A day or two ago I moved from V3.0-R47656, which was running just fine, to the latest v3.0-r49626 for my Linksys WRT3200ACM via WI.
Everything went smooth during the install, no hiccups.
Afterwards I went to the WI and verified and confirmed all the previous settings from former r47656 release were there, no changes at all, and it looked it's running with no issues at all, no need to add any previous settings again...
.. Until I noticed I am unable to run google search in Google Chrome browser!...
So I installed a new Firefox browser, but the issue remains...
I switched to another computer in the same network, no good.
I removed the suspect router from the network and (Haha!...) Google search is back to business...
I can go anywhere in the world, including mail.google.com, forum.dd-wrt.com (you name it!...) and it works just fine! Except for for google.com, youtube.com, drive.google.com (it's redirected to google.com/.../drive...).
These above are the only few links I tested so far, anyway...
TY for any thoughts about it... _________________ DD-WRT V3.0-r49626 std (08/03/22) on WRT3200ACM and flying...

Forgot to insert the message that pops up when trying to reach google.com:
This site can’t be reached www.google.com’s server IP address could not be found.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy, firewall, and DNS configuration
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
If I try to W10 NW Diagnostics, it pops up:
"An error occurred while loading the troubleshooter:
An unexpected error has occurred. The troubleshooting wizard can't continue."
Under Details:
Package ID: Unknown
Path: Unknown
Error code: 0x80004005 (Searched for it online but found nothing related)
User: (Redacted)ComputerName|Username
Context: Restricted
If I click on Checking the proxy, firewall, and DNS configuration it throws the following:
Check your Internet connection (Done, see original post)
Check your DNS settings (Using DNSmasq under dd-wrt)
Try disabling network prediction (Not using it)
Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings (Disabled W10 Defender and Spybot to no avail)
If you use a proxy server… (N.A.)
Thanks for any heads up! _________________ DD-WRT V3.0-r49626 std (08/03/22) on WRT3200ACM and flying...

This reminds me of failed DNS resolution where only one Static DNS is set and it fails.
See attachment for recommendation.
If that doesn't solve it, I suggest (not really a suggestion its a must) to the OP to show setup screenshots so we can see what is going on, description of issues in text and symptoms are not enough to diagnose anything.

@egc, @The-Joker Yep, you're absolutely right! That was my initial plan, but got the issue when running out of time... So I just pitched the essentials to complete the homework later... Sorry for that, my fault...
In the meantime, I left it unattended for a couple of days due to other higher priorities... When back to try to address it, and to my surprise, the issue was gone!... And I am unable to reproduce it...
@The-Joker My Settings are similar to your screenshot, the diffs being:
1. My Static DNSes are 0.0.0.0
2. Forced DNS Redirection is ticked
3. On Services tab:
3.1 Used Domain >>> LAN & WLAN
3.2 SmartDNS Resolver, Prefetch Domain, Serve Expired >>> All Enabled
3.3 DNSMasq Enabled
3.4 Query DNS in Strict Order Enabled
Will set this post as SOLVED, although the cause of the issue is unknown. _________________ DD-WRT V3.0-r49626 std (08/03/22) on WRT3200ACM and flying...
