I don't have that option. Even if I try it in a private browser. I was thinking about buying a new router, this TP Link TLWR 740n v4 is very old. Which one should I choose that is compatible with DDWRT and OpenWRT, but not expensive? Which is now the best choice.

But if your router is a 4MB flash device then likely has no OpenSSL and then the penny drops.
Its either that or something is up with your setup.
4MB flash devices should have wolfSSL (not matrixssl) instead of OpenSSL per conversations with BrainSlayer. I included the public buildscript to show the pointer to the correct config file which still shows matrixssl. Micro builds are the only ones I know of that are CONFIG_NOSSL=y off the top of my head.

Im still trying to get to the bottom of this, @brainslayer says there is no matrixssl anymore on any devices, but config files point to it and not wolfssl or whatever.

So, there is no SSL at all here, mystery solved, the UI offers the option to enable HTTPS and this is a bug, if there is no SSL there should be no options visible that rely on it.

So this could be very well the reason why there is no certificate. Will update when I know more.

I presume that this devices is not in the group of "some small targets" noted below in the quoted email. So not having any clue because all of the config files for devices are not 100% accurate, whack-a-mole.

its buggy. this is why i use wolfssl on some small targets.
upgrading wolfssl is not neccessary right now. i dont want to increase

So, I believe I've run into this problem...I disabled HTTP and enabled HTTPS, and now I can't reach the web interface.
Is there any way to work around this mis-configuration to gain access to the web interface? My router is working, but I have no way to change any settings.
nvram set https_enable=0 && nvram set http_enable=1 && nvram commit && reboot
OR, you can reset your router and start over with fresh configs. Whichever works best for you. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
