I am trying to set multiple hostnames for a multiple IP, I read this wiki and saw this:

https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/DNSMasq_Local_Network#2.29_Additional_DNS_Options

When I enter address=/local/192.168.1.2 into Additional DHCPd Options and I save, apply, and reboot the router - the host name does not resolve when I ping it.

(192.168.1.2 is a static lease)

Advice?

You forgot to mention the build you are using.

This works for me:
address=/egc.XXXX.XXX/192.168.0.1

But as it is a DNSMasq option it should be entered under DNSMasq Additional Options and not under DHCP Additional Options
