In respect to the save button issue, are you getting anything in the browser that tells you anything related to apply.cgi, etc. or is it just sitting there on the same page with no update of config? Need specifics for this so it can be addressed.
I always recommend (in order) Pale Moon portable, Firefox ESR portable, or Waterfox Classic with zero extensions or add-ons loaded in a separate process from internet traffic to access DD-WRT. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

outer/Version: Netgear R7000P
Firmware Version: D DD-WRT v3.0-r49492 std (07/14/22)
Kernel Version: Linux 4.4.302-st14 #6677 SMP Thu Jul 14 10:43:24 +07 2022 armv7l
Previous/Reset: r49467 and original Netgear Firmware / reset
Mode/Status: Gateway / Working
Issues/Errors:
Upgrading from the previous release was a disaster! When i tried to do the update, it would stop, and I would lose the GUI. When I rebooted the router I got GUI back, but again the update would not complete, and I lost the GUI again. I did a reset, but still the same problem. I did a reset again, but I still could not update, and again I lost the GUI. Again I did a reset and this time I updated with the Netgear firmware, which worked.
From the Netgear firmware I was able to load the latest version of DD-WRT and I did another reset. Again, the factory to DD-WRT version of the firmware did not give me the CFT Shortcut Forwarding engine option or the Flow acceleration options. I got them back after I used the bin update file.
VHT160 still shows up (I don't think it is valid for the R7000P). I did not try to use it because of loss of GUI after I attempted to use it in the previous build. Perhaps trying the VHT160 caused all the problems. I used Firefox with the cache cleared and in the troubleshooting mode, which disables all extensions.
@oops_mx: There is more than one router that is "labeled" AC1900 from Netgear, I guess in my previous post in response to you, I must've misunderstood a little. But at least I explained some further information, nonetheless. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r47985 std (01/07/22)
Kernel Version: Linux 4.4.302-st14 #6685 SMP Thu Jul 14 22:11:56 +07 2022 armv7l
Mode: Gateway/AP
Reset: No
Status: OK
Uptime: <~1h
Issues/Errors: Flashed 49500 alpha off the test server to see if I can help narrow down the "issues" folks are having as well as check on the webUI style updates that are still in progress. I will report if I run into any issues, but so far, nothing to report. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

@IONK: Sorry, didn't see the video, and we have no clue if your nvram set worked to enable klogd because you didn't show us what happened after the reboot in the video. I have a feeling it did not as mini and micro base.nvramconfig files do not have a line for klogd in the public repo.
I have never seen an issue with console_debug enabled. And I don't know who thought setting it doesn't survive a reboot, because it does. I'm seeing all of the debug log entries on everything here and that is one of the first things I do after flashing and after every hard reset, lol. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

I only edited my original post and uploaded the video this morning, that's why you didn't see the video previously. Neither your eyes nor your mind played trick on you!
Attached is the /var/log/messages after reboot.
If console_debug has no negative impact, should it be enabled by default?

Oh, so you weren't trying to make me think I was going crazy, eh?

This is a "hidden" debug setting, I don't think it exists in the default nvram parameters on any device, which is why BrainSlayer recommends setting it if nothing shows in the syslog/klog.
