I am having a problem setting up multi sssid with VLANS.
I have configued a d-link 882 wifi router as a AP and have two ssids on it.
wlan0 - ddwrt (2.4 ghz)
wlan1 - ddwrt-5 (5ghz)
Virtual ssids: same ssid for 2.4 and 5 ghz
wlan0.1 - homewifi (2.4ghz)
wlan1.1 - homewifi (5Ghz)
I have added a bridge (br1) and a vlan id(20) and have made vlan20 and wlan0.1, wlan1.1 part of the br1 in Setup->networking (please see the attached images) and in Setup->switch config
i am using the wan port as a trunk port and have tagged vlan20, vlan1 (see screen shot).
In my mikrotik router i have set vlan20 with the relevant address (192.168.20.0/24) and dhcp server.
The non vlan ip address range is 192.168.88.0/24 and dhcp server is setup in the bridge interface
When I connect to homewifi my devices get the correct ip address in the 192.168.20.x series However when I try connect to ddwrt or ddwrt-5 the wifi devices do not connect. For the life of me I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.
I want people conneced to the homewifi to be on vlan20 and those who connect to ddwrt* to be on the default vlan and hence get their ip from the 192.168.88.x series.
