Router/Version: Linksys WRT1900ACS v1 / DD-WRT v3.0-r49268 std (06/19/22)
File/Kernel: CLI webflash / Linux 4.9.319 #3280 SMP Sun Jun 19 14:50:17 +07 2022 armv7l
Previous/Reset: r49212 / No
Mode/Status: Gateway, DNSmasq, OpenVPN Client, FreeRADIUS Server, VLANs, VAPs, WPA3 / Uptime 21:22
Issues/Errors: Excellent, thanks! I note that status/wireless/wlan0 5 GHz channel survey returns a list of 21-25 channels depending on region (although missing channels 165-177 for United States), and fully updated clients can connect on all of those channels with this ACSv1 router's wireless/basic/advanced/ radar detection (DFS) enabled and transmit power capped at 14 dbm (indoors/TPC).
Router/Version: Linksys WRT1900ACS v2 / DD-WRT v3.0-r49268 std (06/19/22)
File/Kernel: CLI webflash / Linux 4.9.319 #3280 SMP Sun Jun 19 14:50:17 +07 2022 armv7l
Previous/Reset: r49212 / No
Mode/Status: Gateway, DNSmasq, OpenVPN Client, FreeRADIUS Server, VLANs, VAPs, WPA3 / Uptime 21:06
Issues/Errors: With same wireless settings as the other router, status/wireless/wlan0 5 GHz channel survey on this ACSv2 router returns only 8 channels (instead of 20+), namely channels 36, 40, 44, 48, 149, 153, 157 and 161; even after an NVRAM reset to factory defaults. Although the missing intermediate channels can be selected from the GUI wireless pulldown or telnet cli (wl command), no updated clients except another dd-wrt router can see the broadcasts from this ACSv2 router on those intermediate channels nor connect other than on the 8 surveyed channels. It seems like this 2016+ ACSv2 may be hardware neutered in the DFS channels regardless of enabling radar detection, region, etc. _________________ My DD-WRT Routers:
