Yes a software clock but no RTC, so they all have to synchronize with a NTP server after the system start otherwise the date and time is not correct and time critical services like DNSSEC refuse the service.

You were asked for this information that I already knew and you balked. NTP server functionality is not a default feature and has to be done with magic voodoo.

Have you legitimately not heard of in-browser zoom, stretching a window across multiple monitors, or putting a monitor in portrait mode?

My main router is enterprise grade router from Ubiquti. It can definitely support NTP. Wink

First, I dont care about monitor orientation, you can hang the monitor out the window dangling from a rope and spin it around and grab a screenshot, this doesn't not affect the pictured rendered in any way, and if zooming affects something and not the other than get a new browser.

The same applies to windows across monitors, if this affects the size of controls in such a way but not the text, then your video card/drivers are whacked, probably AMD stuff.

NTP server and client is not the same, but you know that. and again, DD-WRT NTP client is not a regular fully fledged client, it literally only works with WAN connection afaik.

But You can confirm this, by enabling syslog and showing us that syslog it will be VERY clear if its working as your setup or not. Until you show us proof, it didn't happen.

No luck with client mode either. I followed the KB for client mode and not only do I not get any internet, I can't even access the web console from either end.

My router shows that it did connect to the WiFi with the IP I assigned to it.

I am away from home right now. Is there anything that I can do to help? Settings and such? My 6700v3 is working great in Client Bridge mode supposedly 1300 both directions. It's hooked up to a XR500.

Probably. Absolutely nothing I've tried or has been suggested is working. If anything, it seems to be getting worse with each suggestion.

I used the guide from the old wiki:
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Client_Bridge

I noticed that you have the "Flow Acceleration" option on you setup page. I do not.

Still no luck. The last 3 times I've tried the setting suggestions I've seen, I've been unable to access the web console after rebooting the router.

You can try the steps from 2011, but I don't know if you will be much better off.

Pretty sure Strange is my only hope at this point.

I have an R6400 which is the same, will check the wiki tomorrow as I am done patching some things for OpenVPN

Have done it in the past without problems.

N.B. You loose GUI access because if the client bridge does not work you do not have DHCP and the only option is then to connect to the client bridge with a static DHCP.

Bottom line set a static lease on your PC after you have setup Smile

I am fully aware of how to connect that way, and that hasn't worked either on the last 3 attempts. On my earlier attempts I was able to access the console via both upstream and downstream.

OK first draft how I setup a client bridge for Broadcom.

Took me 5 minutes and it seems to work, yes I can access the GUI from upstream and downstream and yes my client bridge has the right time.

Mind you it is a first draft so subject to change but at least with these steps I could setup a client bridge (which actually now seems to be called a Station bridge Shocked ?? )

No I do not use Router mode IMHO that should actually be stripped out of the router (not that it should matter in this particular case) and no I am not going to discuss that Smile

Yes, this came about after discussing this feeback with @brainslayer.

Apparently this is not available in when in AP mode, client mode being station mode as far as it is understood. So after 2 commits he renamed it to more accurately describe the options after fiddling with orders and conditional target visibility.

@egc: If you don't uncheck the boxes under dhcp server (i.e. "use dnsmasq for DNS"), of course you have to set local DNS because DNSMasq is running. Try without those checkboxes checked and with DNSMasq disabled on the services page to see if you still need local DNS set, please. Maybe CB mode requires gateway mode, but as it was explained to me, it shouldn't.
