R7800
WDS STA 5ghz 80MHz
WDS VAP 5GHz
2.4 GHZ
no reset
uptime 10 hrs.

All was good (actually great) at the beginning, lowest latency ever over secondary (this) router devices.

Somehwere between 8-10 hrs in, 5GHz connected endpoint throughput tanked to under1MB. Signal strenth remained excellent on thiose devices they just wouldnt pass data. Had to reboot router, back to normal after reboot. not sure if it will last though

I had a similar issue, also around 10-12 hours since flashing r49113 when I noticed it. For me too, resetting the R7800 seems to have fixed it, but it's been around 6 hours since the reboot. I'll reply again in case the issue comes back.

For clarity, when I did manage to SSH into the router, I saw some messages like these:

Code:

[47539.887320] ath10k_pci 0000:01:00.0: failed to lookup txq for peer_id 2 tid 0

Which are what I was seeing when the router stops answering to clients, usually when a client goes out of range (thread about it here), except this time this morning all known clients were in range and not moving. All except two weren't even in use...

Following up on my previous, looks like i needed to reboot again. things just slowed down, no crash nothing in syslog other than normal connect /disconnect (not kernel logging so dont know about that), happend on wired and wireless interfaces. Reboot brings back to full speed

Update - reverted to 49081, this build too unstable over time. my x10/r9000 was on49081 as primary router, and seemed much happier.

Similar slowdowns and blackouts after few hours or running as reported earlier. I think it actually started few builds ago, maybe couple of weeks. During blackouts I cannot even connect to the router by LAN IP for few seconds. At the same time wifi shows 'connected' and signal is strong. R7800.

Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r49113 std (06/07/22)
Kernel Version: Linux 4.9.317 #1002 SMP Tue Jun 7 12:27:15 +07 2022 armv7l
Wireless: Vanilla
Temperatures: CPU 57.976 °C / wlan0 60 °C / wlan1 66 °C
Current Time: Thu, 09 Jun 2022 17:12:05
Uptime: 11:41
Reset: No, nvram was reset in April
GUI install over 49081
Running Services: Wireguard client, USB, NAS, mDNS/Avahi

Having the same slowdown issue as other R7800/XR500 users. Everything on the status page looks okay. No crashes or reboots, just gets real slow after a while.

Thank you BS and thanks you gurus for your guides and wisdom

I had a stable scenario for around 26 hours, then it happened again. However, this time no dmesg messages showing anything unusual and the issue went away by itself after around 3 minutes - all 3 active devices dropped off 5GHz but one active device on 2.4GHz seemed fine.

I understand how these builds are expected to be unstable, but I really wish there was more information/tools on how to debug these things for us to provide better feedback.

For those having problems, do you have airtime fairness enabled?

It looks like Airtime fairness has been changed.
Maybe that is the culprit?
