This build is actually erased and not recommended ?
Seems like I`m the exception today. I`m new to the ea8500s and have only been on 3 builds. This one works better for me than r48897 or r48971. I`m up 27 hrs. without a reboot or any snags. Wireless is the fastest yet. I`ll stay till the next one.
Router Model: Netgear R7800
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r49028 std (05/31/22)
Kernel: Linux 4.9.316 #984 SMP Tue May 31 04:10:52 +07 2022 armv7l
Previous: GUI upgrade from DD-WRT v3.0-r48996 std (05/30/22)
Reset: No.
Status: Gateway / PPPoE, WAN MAC Clone, 5 GHz Mixed 80 MHz Vanilla, Port Forwarding, Static Leases, Wireless MAC Filter
Errors: None so far.
Build has been erased but everything works perfectly fine for me. I run a very simple setup with most things turned off other than the ones mentioned in my status, Airtime Fairness is also enabled.
I'm gonna keep staying on this version until the next one. I hate setting everything up from scratch again.
Router/Version: Netgear R9000
File/Kernel: 48996
Previous/Reset: yes
Mode/Status: reverted to 48741
Issues/Errors: this firmware corrupted the router - the only way I could roll back to the previous firmware was to reflash the router with 48741 and then restore the 48741 backup.

R9000 some have been reported to get corrupted ui on latest fw's, needs full reset to factory defaults maybe twice and a couple of reboots while also ensuring your browser cache is cleared with ctrl +f5.
then reconfiguration from scratch, though this build has some unrelated issues though.
ou cant restore old backups if you want to be declared gremlin free.
For example, the page for wireless configuration wasn't a complete page. In other words, there was no save or apply buttons. As a matter of fact, when I upgraded to this firmware it wiped out all my settings. Re-flashing the firmware, nvram erase had no effect. So I rolled back and I already posted what I had to do to get a working router.
