@MLandi Since you dont have issues to report, syslog has nothing useful anyway. I looked, its normal.
Thanks. I did not know if there was something in the log or an order of events that was helpful even if I saw nothing wrong. I won't post the log in the future unless something seems wrong. _________________ Netgear R9000

I thought R7800/XR500 was different from R7800/X4S which is the original version that most people have, including me. That might be why you and some R9000 people are having problems. Because I believe the favorite child is the original R7800/X4S.

I was asked for people to refrain from public comments about syslog entries they do not understand if they do not understand how the firmware works; instead focus on functionality issues, primarily and cosmetic (quite) secondarily. Thanks for understanding.

I have XR500-100NAS. Someone, anyone, please, tell me if I bought the wrong product and loaded the wrong firmware
The xr500 and X4s are virtually the same see the guide in my signature.
They also use the same firmware.
There are other users with ipq806x routers e.g. R7800, xr500 EA8500 reporting problems on recent builds.
It would help now a serial log of it working and crashing complete log obviously to have a better picture, syslog has nothing as usual.
The R9000 is my only router so I need it running. Is there any way to write the logs to a USB stick? I could do that. What I can't do is take the router out of service and try to download logs from it. "Real work" does not allow that.
I can tell you that when the router crashed (and it has now done it twice) I was online with work via Ethernet. My wife was online with her work using WiFi. Nothing unusual for my house. _________________ Netgear R9000

My WiFi issues seem about the same but only been on the ea85s about a week so my setting are a work in progress.
I ignored "the-jokers" good advice and skipped the resets only because I don`t have the time right now. But I made easy access to my serial ports so if I have issues I`ll grab the output and post back. Thanks Everyone !
