Been running for 3 days, upgraded from r28788. Nice to pull in 8 years of updates lol.

I'm not really a power-user, but haven't had any issues with basic routing/wifi. No slowdowns, etc noticed.

Seems all good so far Very Happy

Ah, apologies for skipping those details.

I believe the model is WRT1900ACv2 (it's the one without a fan).

r48996 could have easily been latest at time of download, without the specifics.

If r48996 is running fine for Marvell hey alright, otherwise new builds available.

Model No. is listed on the bottom in the upper right, ignore both FCC ID and IC.

It was the newest build for which the forum threads weren't discussing misc issues they encountered. r49028 and r49049 were considered, but seeing the issues raised made me look backwards for a more stable version.

A general question: I'm not really interested in running the bleeding edge, I want something stable and good. I've seen a few previous threads about "last known good" versions but they seemed outdated. What's the best way to determine a 'safe' revision to update to, other than by scanning the forum discussion?

If you are not on the current release, any "issues" you encounter will generally not be addressed, depending on specifics, until you are on the current release and you have done a hard reset and re-configure from scratch.
