Welcome to Marvell r48996 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers and community benefit.

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:

• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Misc: stracetcpdumpwireshark.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, CB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.
r48996 could have easily been latest at time of download, without the specifics.
It was the newest build for which the forum threads weren't discussing misc issues they encountered. r49028 and r49049 were considered, but seeing the issues raised made me look backwards for a more stable version.
A general question: I'm not really interested in running the bleeding edge, I want something stable and good. I've seen a few previous threads about "last known good" versions but they seemed outdated. What's the best way to determine a 'safe' revision to update to, other than by scanning the forum discussion?

If you are not on the current release, any "issues" you encounter will generally not be addressed, depending on specifics, until you are on the current release and you have done a hard reset and re-configure from scratch. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
