Router/Version: Tp-Link TL-WDR 3600 v. 1.5.
Kernel: Linux 3.10.108-d11 #107086 Mon May 16 06:35:35 +07 2022 mips
Reset: Yes, because problem with WIFI condition and speed of internet connection
Mode: Internet gateway, WiFI 5GHz AP (2.4 GHz disabled), dnsmasq server, iptables firewall
Status: Working
Issues: I noticed slow speed of internet connection ~400 mbit/s (I have 600+ option from ISP). However wireless network working better. I'm not change many advanced options.
Uptime: Currently it's more than 7h after restore factory default and make fresh configuration

Router working with some issues, WAN performance is poor. It not depend of firewall and security options. I'm disabled them for tests and download speed skip to 430 mbit/s from 400 - 410 earlier. On former versions of firmware I have ~580 mbit/s download speed. Please check optimization of firmware.

EA8500 r48886
been using unbound for long time --- haven't changed a thing in many builds

However---> this unbound ver 1.15.0 went stupid 'bout 4 hrs ago.
Would NOT resolve ...local DNS was still worky ok.
I disabled it and 'applied settings' but still not good.
Done a quick reboot from the webif and all has be great since.
Using verisign DNS servers I already had set on main webif.
I did look at active IP connections before I switched unbound off and it showed
958 which I believe is a bit high....What you do BS ??? Rolling Eyes
Imma still happy ..the verisign DNS I use does DNSSEC anyways so she is all good
Cool

Update method: SSH / CLI
Router/Version: Netgear R9000 Nighthawk X10
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r48886 std (05/16/22)
Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r48810 std (05/06/22) / Yes
Mode/Status: Gateway / Working Normally
Issues/Errors: No issues

Notes
I could not get the 5/13 version to work with my R9000. After a three hour "repair", this is how I got it fixed.

1. Flashed the 5/6 version.
2. Long press on the reset button to factory reset.
3. Manually set every setting I use. (That takes a significant about of time.)
4. Saved a backup and rebooted.
5. Verified that I had the 5/6 version up properly and working as it should.
6. Flashed 5/16. No issues at all.

I cannot say for sure the 5/13 version was bad on the R9000. It is likely that I had corrupted or conflicting data in my nvram and the 5/13 version exposed it.

Lesson Learned
As has been said here before, it is a good practice to occasionally start from a factory reset and enter your settings fresh. That takes a while when you have lots of settings to change, but it did solve my problem.

I'll report tomorrow am after the router has been up for over 12 hours, but I expect no issues. Thanks to all who helped me fight through this.

@Mlandi, glad you have it sorted, and that the UI is rendering as expected, I hope.

On my Broadcom occasionally something goes tits up for no apparent reason whatsoever, like for instance, to debug some issues, I set the hidden nvram setting console_debug=1 And after that, wifi went nuts, completely inaccessible, then on reboot DHCP refused to hand over any on the static leases, and could not access the interface or ssh.

Took two resets and manual reconfigure to get it back, couldn't even restore the backup for the same build. Could it have been a Single Event Upset? Who knows. As usual BS never finds anything wrong.

Using console_debug also is giving me trouble.
Router will not boot when it is set.

But that was some time ago, I stopped using it

I guess I should not complain that it took me three hours. I'm glad I have a "clean" nvram now but wish it was not so painful. I probably should do this once a year or so considering I take every release put out, and I am known to fiddle with the settings. Laughing

At the very least once a year, just to clear out any gremlins.

But Im now re configuring the router via SSH and a script I wrote, since my setup never really changes, Im considering looking into yoyomas easyddup instead for restoring the working setup.

Anybody has issues with RTSP video remote streaming via forwareded 554 port, with latest builds?
Connected old camera which was working before. Same phone with same tinyCam app using same settings, nothing changed. Same forwarded port to 554. Used to work just fine, but not anymore. ONVIF connects but RTSP UDP (this camera uses UDP) streaming doesn't start. When on LAN it works.
Anybody?
