Hi,
I have a Netgear 8000 with Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r48786 std (05/03/22) with OpenVPN Server working and connected. The problem is if I am using Flashrouters to change the location of my router, OpenVPN Server stops and no information is seen. I then have to reset the router without any FlashROuter VPN active to resolve the issue.
I realise there may be a conflict between the two VPNs, but has anyone seen this situation and is there a solutions?

If you want to switch between VPN tunnels, there are some examples how to easily do that including a script from @eibgrad in the OpenVPN Client setup guide.

But it is not as convenient as an app on your phone to do that
Thanks for your response.
I do however believe that Flash routers will not come back because as far as they are concerned their solution works.
The issue I believe is with the dd-wrt firmware. It does not update what is should update post starting the Flashrouter VPN. In the Status page for OpenVPN, where it once had CONNECTION SUCCESS, now and even a long wait, there is nothing.

Last I knew, FlashRouters does not use current releases of DD-WRT and are usually grossly behind the power curve. You can probably search the forum and see for yourself. Can't blame DD-WRT end if they do not keep up with current development diligently. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

No it is not a DDWRT problem, it is up to a third party app to work with current builds.
egc says it best, and to add to his statement on a previous reply to this thread, and to reinforce the statement, you should go ask FlashRouters team for support with their products.
As you yourself noted and this is key piece of the puzzle, only when you introduce flashrouters anything it goes tits up. This is the definition of not dd-wrt related.
egc is who I personally consider the tunneling expert (OpenVPN/Wireguard) both as a user and developer who has submitted patches to that end, so I defer to his higher knowledge in this area, if he says its not DD-WRT, its not DD-WRT.
Also consider upgrading DD-WRT to a supported version currently 48886.
