Missing last character when doing cat /tmp/.rc_usb

Not the issue at all, you can escape everything till cows come home, will solve nothing.

Also JS escape() is deprecated. doesn't matter, wont fix anything.

You cannot escape these issues, no matter how much you escape bits. The problem lies elsewhere.

I beg and bet to differ. But then, I haven't read the source codes related to the escaping of quote characters last time. I will leave that to DD-WRT programmers. Hopefully, it's not done by Javacript. Smile

One thing: when you edit the USB Script, no missing last character/line! HTML text area can be set read-only.
