**update- flash via cli on Linksys WRT54GL yields the same results. I also tried clearing nvram and
r48494 3/15/22 appears.

These routers are slow as sin, takes a long time to flash, if after upgrading via cli and process is complete and return old FW version, then there must be some issue which likely is due to recently FW sizes have increased and after 48810 should be fixed.
Agreed. just trying to keep it somewhat relevant with all of the fixes lately. I'll try it again when the next release is ready. So far, 48810 works pretty well on my other routers. _________________ ASUS RT-AC3100 AP Merlin 386.12_4

Yes, the router only shows devices under "DHCP Clients" that have received DHCP data after the last reboot.
Static clients must renew their DHCP lease to be displayed under "DHCP Clients".
Otherwise, they are only displayed under "Active Clients" if they are active.
The background is that the database with the lease data (dnsmasq.leases) is stored under /tmp and is lost after a reboot.
The router loses the data set during a reboot and can no longer remember the static leases.
There is definitely something weird with Static Leases. I've been in a hotel this week with my Repeater....I've had to disconnect/reconnect everyday because it looses Internet connection. Once I do a disconnect/reconnect then everything is ok again for 24 hours. I have Static Leases setup with the Client Lease Expiration left Blank.

It wouldn't get past the "image too big for partition linux" message if the firmware image was too big. Was this the case @MysticGold04? If not, then there is something else wrong. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Nope the flash completed successfully as far as I can tell.
The flash blocks went by and it said “finished”
Is there a wait period before rebooting?? _________________ ASUS RT-AC3100 AP Merlin 386.12_4

Not that I am aware of. So, the images are still using the old revision number for some reason which I presume was already addressed. We'll see next release. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
