Thinking of getting one of these bad boys, but i see there is no DDWRT for it yet. Will this router ever get DDWRT ? And what do you pros think of this router. :)

Oh no, really. How come no one likes Broadcom, are they shit or something ? Any ideas of a decent wifi 6/e router btw. Cheers :)

Did you read the link he provided @ "Sticky"?

There's no source from Broadcom, it's binaries only. It's not that Broadcom's shite, it's that they don't play nice, so code can't be adapted.

I read it and i was really dissapointed. What a real shame. This router with DDWRT would have rocked. Gutted dude, gutted !

As an aside you may notice a trend in the land of OpenWrt for AX or 6/6E; so far it is all MediaTek.

QCA: R7800 (XR450/XR500), R7500v2, EA8500 (serial flash), R9000 (R8900/XR700), x86 (J4125).
