Hi all,

If wireless GUI access is enabled on both networks 1A and 1B, but AP isolation and net isolation are enabled on 1B, would that be what's accounting for inability to access the GUI on network 1B?

If so, any suggestions on a workaround other than turning off net / AP isolation?

Thanks in advance!

We need more information to answer that question.

Besides you are posting in the wrong forum, The General questions forum is not for router help.

See the forum guidelines with helpful pointers about how to research your router, where and what firmware to download, where and how to post and many other helpful tips:

Start with telling router model and build number.

Furthermore what is your network setup, is network 1B unbridged from the main network i.e. is it on its own subnet?

My apologies, I figured this might be router / build independent.

It's Netgear R6400v2 build 04-12-2022-r48646.

Technically the setup is as follows:
wl0 - unbridged, net / ap isolation ON, w-gui DISABLED
wl1 - bridged, net / ap isolation OFF, w-gui ENABLED
wl1.1 - unbridged, net / ap isolation ON, w-gui ENABLED

Everything otherwise functions as expected, just no wireless GUI access on wl1.1. My suspicion is it's the AP isolation on that virtual interface superceding the gui access.

Net isolation isolates the subnet from other subnets and from the router (only allowing DHCP and DNS).

It is e.g. for guest networks or IoT networks and you do not want those to mess with your router.

So everything is as expected Smile

We are here to help Smile

If you want to change this default behaviour you can use firewall rules see for an example:
