I still have random reboots on my both RT-AC88U. This happen with all builds more or less i tested during the last months. Is there any more information i can provide to troubleshoot this issue. One is the gateway router using DHCP, MAC filtering, DynDNS and port forwarding. Thes second one is an simple access point with MAC filtering. I actually have an external syslog server to log the info for both of them.

Post your log here.

Are you using the experimental driver?

Im not using the experimental driver. Anyhow it was the same when i used this in the past. Attached you can find the syslog's for both servers of the last days. I was experiencing a few reboots on both of the routers. Many thanks for looking into this.

Router: Netgear R7450
File/Kernel: r7450-webflash.bin
Previous/Reset: r48646 std / no
Mode/Status: Gateway / working
Issues/Errors: wireless devices having this issue where when loading a webpage or YouTube Video it will hang for 2-3 seconds in the beginning then will finish loading with no issues. Happens whether it is connected on 2.4 or 5 GHz. Tried rebooting the router and modem to make sure it wasn't a simple issue but still happening.

Any advice?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Wish I had seen this after your post. First bit of advice is to report in the Ralink/MediaTek forum build thread.

https://wikidevi.wi-cat.ru/Netgear_R7450

Now we have a semi-irrelevant string of posts in the Broadcom forum Rolling Eyes

Any advice?

Factory reset fixed the issues.

Wifi clients lose internet after a few hours and cannot access router web GUI. Wifi signal strength remains strong and the router GUI shows the clients as connected. Ethernet clients maintain internet and LAN access.

I have no idea why dmesg is showing wl0 since I have 2.4 Ghz disabled. I only use 5 Ghz (wl1).

I suspect there is a hardware defect with my R7000P since I have erased nvram twice (and configured from scratch) and I still experience the same issue where wireless clients lose internet access after a few hours. I do not suspect that this is caused by dd-wrt.

^ I second this. Same router, and had some wifi peformance issues that I can't recall right now with a previous build (we discussed them at the time). I rolled back, but pretty sure my router now has AIDS from "uninvited surprise fun time" Wink . Time for a reflash with newer firmware, I think? Laughing
