Hallo, ich suche einen neuen Router für mich.

Folgende Anforderungen:

- Router soll 2,5 Ghz und 5 Ghz können (kann ja fast jeder')
- Router soll Gigabit LAN haben, sehr schnelles W-LAN
gewünscht
- Router soll, wenn möglich mittels einer SIM Karte
betrieben werden können (nicht unbedingt)
- Router soll (auch ohne DD-WRT) VPN Client haben
- Router darf gerne WPA3 unterstützen

Kosten so bis maximal 120,00 €

Ich bitte um Rückmeldung. Hatte schon einige TP-Link Router, aber wenn es ASUS etc. ist, auch nicht schlimm. Hauptsache gut und DD-WRT fähig.

Vielen Dank, das habe ich auch schon gesehen.

Aber eine Information von jemandem, der einen entsprechenden Router hat, wäre halt gut.

Die Antwort ist seit einigen Jahren die gleiche. Es ist unwahrscheinlich, dass sich das ändert.

Ja, aber es sind so viele Links, da wird man ja fast erschlagen.

Asus RT-AC86U wird nicht unterstützt.

Diese Liste ist nicht ganz auf dem neuesten Stand.

Empfohlen: R7800 (XR450/XR500), R7500v2, EA8500 (seriell flash), R9000 (R8900/XR700), x86 (J4125).

Vielen Dank. Ich suche ein ordentliches Gerät, aber wie gesagt, so ca. 120,00 € leine 500,00 €

Ja, habe ich mir auch schon überlegt. Flashen würde ich aus Sicherheitsgründen ohnehin.

So, ich habe nun etwas gefunden, und zwar den Asus RT-AC68U Router.

Fragen:

1. Bei dem Gerät kann ich ohne DD-WRT bereits einen VPN Client nutzen, kann ich auch ProtonVPN einsetzen und einrichtren?

2. Geht das beides auch, wenn ich DD-WRT installiert habe?

Vorsicht, da es viele verschiedene hardware revisionens gibt, versionen der RT-AC68U serie.

CPU Dual-Core mit nur 800 MHz, OpenVPN läuft auf router erwarten Sie mangelnde leistung.
