Hey all!
I've got a WRT1200AC with DD-WRT v3.0-r44715
My ISP requires me to connect to the Internet using PPPoE and use VLAN tagging with ID 13. Is there an easy way to configure this?
I've already got it working once by
- Factory reset
At this point the 'Setup' > 'Switch config' tab is hidden. Why?
- Setup > Basic Setup > PPPoE > Credentials ...
- Setup > Networking > Tagging > Added eth0 with tag number 13 and prio 0
- Apply / Reboot
'Setup' > 'Switch config' did appear..
- Setup > Networking > WAN port assignment = eth0.13
- using bash: nvram set pppoe_wan_ifname=eth0.13
- reboot
This approach allowed the router to connect to my ISP, but my LAN is now fully accessible from WAN port and vice versa. My LAN even got addresses from the DHCP of the WAN side..
How can I setup my Internet connection properly?
I read lots of posts here on this forum, but none of them even made the router connect to my ISP..
Also the Switch config tab is hidden after factory reset and I've to add a VLAN tag to make it appear. I think this messes somehow with the config. Is this possible?
