I performed a firmware upgrade from 44048 to 48607 completed successfully
The default gateway is 0.0.0.0

I am unable to change the IP Address and default gateway successfully.

Does anyone know of a change in the firmware setting that I need to make for the change to take effect.

You probably need to upgrade via CLI as the version you have may be broken for webflash upgrades. See installation wiki link in my signature and:

That was a large build version jump, nvram reset or router reset is recommended here.

My updated rule of thumb;

If the current installed build is equal or older than max 6 months vs the build you are upgrading to, then nvram reset is recommended followed by reconfiguration.

Always upgrade to the very latest public build of DD-WRT, unless you know by following DD-WRT development some issues are likely to cause problems with current setup.

Minimum DD-WRT upgrade interval is monthly, unless exigent circumstances due to security patches and 3rd party libraries upgrades, kernels, etc, etc...

Maximum time to push my luck without nvram reset 1 year.

New Build - 08/10/2022 - r49677 reports look good stay with current builds and especially for security fixes.
At this point no one should use old builds Marvell has been good since r47720 or early December, 4 months.

r44048 config is too old GUI factory defaults, reset button 10 seconds or Telnet root nvram erase && reboot.
Give the router some time to reboot and stabilize if no WAN power cycle unspecified ISP modem equipment.
