Router/Version: WRT3200ACM
File/Kernel: 4.9.288
Previous/Reset: None
Mode/Status: Gateway
Issues/Errors:

Hello guys. I have updated from r44863 to DD-WRT v3.0-r47618 std (11/05/21).

After a while, the Wi-Fi is not available anymore, but I am still able to reach the router from a machine connected with RJ45.

The dmesg provides this:

Any clue on why this occurs?

Prior to the update, the router was stable.

Cheers.

If wlan2 (formerly ath2 in older DD-WRT versions) is the 88W8887 interface, it has no external antenna, is only for DFS radar detection, and should be disabled in DD-WRT (and OpenWRT).
Quote:
Note: The WRT3200ACM Firmware has a third WLAN (ath2). While some have had limited success enabling it it is recommended that it be Disabled. It was intended for DFS Radar Detection.

Also do consider upgrading to a current build. Look for "new build" in the thread names in this forum. Generally the latest is the best, but always read the new-build thread just in case.

Wifi problems were recently fixed. I don't remember the exact build number when the fixed wifi appeared, but I believe it was fairly near the build you are using.

r47720 fixed wifi cutouts for Marvell series, but at this point upgrade to a build from this year so try r48607.

r44863 config is too old GUI factory defaults, reset button 10 seconds or Telnet root nvram erase && reboot.
