Hi.
Hope someone can help me.
I have my router set in Bridge mode and don't know how or if it's possible to get back to the settings page to change this.
I'd like to leave it in bridge mode, but change my wifi password.
is there an ip address assigned to the router in bridge mode? If there is, how would I find it.

I installed DD-wrt a while ago and have no idea what version I have.

Resetting the router with the reset button doesn't seem to work.

You might be able to figure it out via wireshark, but I'm skeptical. It should be an IP address in the same subnet as the attached clients, but outside of the DHCP range of the upstream router. Obviously, it has a build during the reset button being 'broken' if the normal reset procedure didn't work, which is ~10 second press of reset button with router powered up.

Quote:
Step 1: With the unit on, use the end of a paperclip to press the reset button for seven seconds, which is located inside a small hole on the base of the unit. The power light on the front of the router will turn orange to indicate that the unit is restarting.

No, the reset doesn't work.

I'm not very familiar with wireshark, but I'm going to look into it.

Without the reset button, any other ways to restore back to factory settings?

I regret using the bridge mode. Argh!

If you can ever manage to get the router's IP address, your two options is to go to Administration -> Factory Defaults in the webUI and reset from there or via telnet/ssh 'nvram erase && reboot'. Outside of that, serial console is the only other way I can think of to wipe the nvram.
