I have a Ethernet client bridge on ddwrt router configured as a client bridge. However multicast packets do not traverse the bridge making things like iTunes sync and other automatic discovery things not work. Is there a way to make multicast packets go over the link to **ALL** clients on the subnet and not just clients on the side of the bridge the multicast packets originate from

Which router/firmware? It might be worth re-posting the question in either the Atheros or Broadcom section.

Mutlicast and ARP do not traverse these fake bridge modes; there is no known workaround that I have found. This is a known issue that will probably never be fixed.

You probably mean Broadcast, not Multicast.

Broadcast is limited to one Ethernet segment.

Multicast needs a IGMP Querier or PIM Protocol Deamon on the router.

No, I do mean multicast, and that is coming straight from an email between myself and BrainSlayer in which he also repeated something about removing said fake bridge mode options completely if people can't handle configuring them.

The only hope of it working is w/ WDS, which comes w/ all its own known compatibility issues and limitations.
