Welcome to Atheros r50841 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers and community benefit.
Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions, create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!
Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Misc: stracetcpdumpwireshark.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.
Just a little bit ago 'scp firmware.bin' to all three wirelessly from laptop sitting in recliner and they all worky fine.
All have OVPN servers & the openvpn version 2.5.8 does its job okydoky good --- I tested them all

On demand governor with minimum 800 MHz.

DDNS with multiple hostnames (sites), for DynDNS provider at least, now appears to work correctly. Thanks to several who worked on this, fixing multiple issues.
should be updated for In-a-Dyn 2.9.1, to remove reference to the now-defunct "-a" parameter to specify multiple hostnames. _________________ Regards,

The bug where DDNS was updating every 10 minutes reported at 50755 is fixed at 50841.

This is volunteer driven updates to wiki. But In any case a great deal more than that needs doing. FYI I cant get the config for dual hostname working freedns side, only tested to see if it worked not when configured via UI as foo.domain.bar foobar.domain.foo errors out
I concur with the bold quoted text above. To that end, that wiki will get updated when all research is done and the dust settles unless one of the previously listed editors in the history of that wiki does it before I get a round tuit in hand. Please exercise a little patience, thanks. First order of business is to disconnect that redirect page, anyway. It shouldn't exist. The proper wiki link is:
