Welcome to Broadcom r48075 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers & community benefit.
Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions, create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• DNScrypt 1.95 can still be used in WebUIbut v2 (not compatible) requires Golang and thus Entware. See Trac ticket #6246.
• WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Try client or repeater modes, but YMMV.
• VAPs not working at bootare fixed, both unbridged (r40634) and bridged (r47822). Please test, removestartup commands.
• If startup scripts do not work from USB add delay (wait script), sleep 25 or try Administration -> Commands -> Save USB.
• Broadcom ARM devices if 5 GHz channels are missingvia Telnet/SSH: 'nvram set brcm_unlock=1' 'nvram commit' 'reboot'.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!
Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs. Logs: 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' syslog klog, serial, strace, tcpdump, wireshark.
• Any firewall NAT or WAN issues, show output: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' and /tmp/.ipt file.
• Gremlins: reset & configure manually, not restore a backup. Reboot. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, CB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

Previous/Reset: r48068 No reset
Mode/Status: Router / Working
Issues/Errors: Several
Initially the update worked without any problems. I decided to try different wireless channels and I did apply settings after each try. After about five changes when I did apply setting I lost access to the router page (internet still worked). The only way I could regain access was by power cycling the router. The problem did not go away and if I pressed apply setting once I would have the same problem. I did a 30-30-30 reset and event though that was successful I could not restore my setting or use apply setting (same problem). I tried a 30-30-30 reset again but that did not help. I finally was able to restore the Netgear original firmware and then put back the DD-WRT firmware. After that I was able to to a restore without any problems.
I believe this problem started about three or four revisions before but I thought it was fixed. It appears the apply updates writes to an area that does not get flushed with subsequent update or a 30-30-30 reset.
The IPv6 issue has been posted in another post on this thread. The router cannot get a WAN IPv6 address

But verified two times that unbound starts default from /tmp/unbound.conf instead of my internal /jffs/etc/unbound.conf while cold-boot or reboot ONLY in R48075.

....
Only way is manual stopservice unbound then startservice unbound, that is
....
Same problem in build 47822!! I thought maybe it's just me, so I didn't report it.
Furthermore, minidlna sometimes wasn't started.
The NAS init script really should have checked whether its child services were all started properly.
