Ok I have a problem, rooted through a bunch of messages and got my OPEN VPN Connection setup, currently on a LinkSys WRT3200ACM running DDWRT V3.0-r4233std (02.10.20)

I am running Starlink for an internet service, starlink publishes two IP Addresses, one a DHCP based IP for internet services and a second 192.168.100.1 for administration purposes.

Generally before I turn on OPEN VPN i just created a static route 192.168.100.1/32 Wan interface and I could then access the admin page of the starlink dish.

I purchased this router from Flashrouters who have a preconfigured OPEN VPN configuration but I am not scared to change it just looking for some help on what is the issue, I suspect it is related to the default nature of all devices on VPN.

step 1. Turn on OpenVPN and connect
step 2. Bypass the VPN tunnel for say my phone, everything work just fine for devices on the VPN and devices off the vpn

Step 3. enter the static route 192.168.100.1/32 and apply
Step 4. All communication to all devices are lost out to the internet, I can still access the DDWRT router but I cannot access the internet for any devices on or off the VPN
Step 5. Delete the static route, wait about 5 minutes and all connectivity is restored.

I hope the attached picture helps as well.
Walter

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Instead of a static route see:
https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Access_To_Modem_Configuration

BTW your build is old and unsupported.
Consider upgrading
Current build is 48081
