I am currently running DD-WRT v3.0-r33010M kongat (08/09/17) on my R7800.
I would like some newer features, I believe the later Kong builds have things like WPA3 and stuff. I believe the latest Kong build for the R7800 is 39855M (correct me if I am wrong).
Does anyone had a mirror to 39855M?
or is it more advisable to upgrade to the latest BS build since the last Kong build was like 2019?

The last <Kong> build was 40270M, July-ish 2019. It is also before all of the last WPA3 commits and development. It is also no longer supported by this forum and you *should* consider an upgrade to Official DD-WRT builds (we no longer call them BS builds, such rhetoric should be avoided). If you look at the R7800 Install Guide, only the factory-to-ddwrt file is there, AFAIK (See references sticky). A couple of other references, for posterity:

As the other members said, last Kong build is old, it lack on security patches and binary updates...
You better stick to the last builds for R7800 as they are much better and optimized...Im flawlessly running it at the moment (47976)...
The only use of last Kong build is the factory-to-ddwrt build as it is a bit smaller and can fit if there are bad blocks... _________________ Atheros

I used r40270M once but turns out my official factory-to-ddwrt problem was an old version stock firmware.
So that was pointless. Same with ddwrt-to-netgear-fw-R7800.bin, TFTP recovery works fine. Convenience?
